BOARDING EXTRAS

Sornum House offers a range of additional extras to supplement the normal boarding packages, allowing you to tailor your pet's stay to their own needs. Please note that there are a limited number of slots for these services and early booking is advisable. However, subject to availability, bookings can be made right up to the date of arrival. However we would suggest that owners booking their pets in for longer periods of boarding give serious consideration to booking these services. Should a service be booked and we find that your pet is not that interested then no charge will be made other than for the first trial walk or fuss time.

Country Walk for Dogs:  Although we walk dogs twice a day at Sornum House, we feel it is important to provide the option of longer walks for dogs that like to get out and use up some energy and explore new places! Our Country Walk  is an extra 45 minute, brisk (or at the dog's own pace if preferred), individual lead walk along the canal (stopping off for a paddle in a shallow area - or swim if they are brave) and back to the kennels via country tracks, with a bit of fuss along the way!

Stroll and Play Time for Dogs:  This option ideally suits the dog that prefers to play, be fussed over and take some time to explore life along the canal path. This option provides an additional 25 minute period of individual fuss and stroll time during the day.

Fuss Time for Cats:  Some cats love to be made an extra special fuss of and this dedicated 12-15 minutes option, in addition to our normal interaction with them, can include lots of extra tickles, ball playing and/or light grooming. If your cat prefers a longer or shorter time spent with them, then our Fuss Times can be joined together to give 20 or 30 minutes at a time or alternatively one Fuss Time can be split over two days. Whatever suits.
